This unit is tremendous! My Geo-thermal contractor said that it would not work with a generator...too much "noise" in the electricity with generators. It ran my 4 ton unit with no problem, the rest of the house plus the 2 horse well pump that feeds the geo-thermal unit. I am elated with the product!
